WHAT IS CBBO ?

CBBO, or Cluster-Based Business Organization, is a professional institution created under the Central Sector Scheme (CSS) for the Formation and Promotion of 10,000 FPOs by the Government of India. It serves as the backbone of the FPO ecosystem, providing end-to-end support in mobilizing farmers, registering FPOs, and ensuring their sustainability through capacity building, market linkages, financial assistance, and value chain development. With a multidisciplinary team of experts, CBBOs facilitate FPOs in becoming competitive, self-reliant businesses that drive agricultural transformation and enhance farmer livelihoods.
