It's a program implemented by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment (DA&FE) of the Government of Odisha. The program's main objective is to diversify medium and upland land paddy areas to non-paddy crops.

The program's objectives include: Sustainable production, Increasing water and nutrient use efficiency, Pest suppression, Income generation, and Conserving biodiversity.
